Steps

  1. Open Webinars in the menu, under Clients and sessions, and choose New webinar.
  2. Enter a title, a description and the date, start time and length. Visitors see the time in their own time zone, with yours noted.
  3. Choose the host and add your Zoom, Google Meet or Teams link. If you leave it empty, Rella uses the host's video link from Settings. The link is only sent to people who register.
  4. Leave Places empty for no limit, or enter a number to close registration when it is full. Choose Save as draft.
  5. Check the details, then choose Publish the page. Copy the registration link and share it on your website, in an email or on social media.
  6. Each person who registers becomes a contact tagged webinar, with the source Webinar and the title. They get a confirmation with a calendar file, then reminders a day before and an hour before.
  7. After the webinar, tick Came beside each person who joined. Add the recording link with Edit to email it to everyone who registered, or use Email people to write to them.

Check it worked

Open the registration page in a private window and register with your own email address. The confirmation arrives with the joining link, and you appear in People who registered.

Common questions

People did not get the joining link

Check that the webinar has a joining link, or that the host has a video link in Settings. People who registered can also open the private page from their confirmation email, which shows the link as soon as you add it.

I changed the time

Everyone registered is emailed the new time with a new calendar file, and the reminders go out again for the new time.

I want to start an automation when someone registers

Create an automation with the trigger Someone registers for a webinar. You can choose one webinar or any webinar.
