Pay for your business number, calls and texts

Buy your business number in Rella, add phone credit by card, and see what calls and texts cost.

Steps

  1. Open Business phone and choose Get a new number. Search by area code or city and pick a number.
  2. Before you pay, Rella shows the monthly price of the number (CA$10 a month) and what calls and texts cost per minute and per text part. The rates are Rella's own cost from its phone company plus 50%, in Canadian dollars.
  3. Choose your first phone credit (CA$10, CA$25 or CA$50) and choose Pay. You pay by card on Stripe's secure page. Rella sets the number up as soon as Stripe confirms the payment. If the number was taken in the meantime, you are refunded in full and can choose another.
  4. Calls and texts come out of your phone credit. A call holds its longest possible cost while it rings and gives back what it did not use when it ends. When the credit runs out, new calls and texts stop until you add more. Rella never lends credit.
  5. Add credit any time under Phone credit. Switch on automatic top-up to add credit from your card when the balance falls below the amount you choose. If the card is refused, automatic top-up switches off and owners and admins get an email.
  6. To stop your number, choose Cancel my number. It keeps working until the end of the month you paid for, then it is released and cannot be got back. Your remaining credit stays in Rella; ask support about a refund.

Common questions

My calls and texts stopped

Check your phone credit. Add credit, or switch on automatic top-up. Businesses on the older monthly allowance stop when the allowance is used up.

I paid but my number is not showing

Choose Refresh after a minute. Rella sets the number up when Stripe confirms the payment. If the number was taken, the page says so and you are refunded.
